I live in an odd nook in the north where one dreads both burns on the sunny days and the norther winds on chilly days, all in the same week. As such, one always needs to have some sort of outer garment ready for the rugged elements here. This poncho dutifully serves me on both shade from the sun and warmth from the cool air. It isn't soft, and that's good, as softer ponchos will compromise their ability by being so. Don't wear this on softer, darker clothes either, as it will inevitably leave a lovely Jackson Pollock of woolen strands all over you. All-in-all, a fantastic piece that I think I underpaid for, as this'll keep me for a long time, and I wear it nearly every day.
